Instructions to make Biryani Rice:
- Slice onion and fry until golden brown
- Marinate chicken with all ingredients and refrigerate for about 30 mins
- Parboil rice with 2 cardamom
- In a pan add 1/3 cup oil. Grounded ginger, white n black pepper, turmeric, cumin, bay leaf, seasoning and stir
- Add marinated chicken, biryani masala, parsley, and half the yogurt and stir after about 5 mins,
- Cover pot well with foil paper. Add drop of yellow food color to remaining half yogurt
- After chicken is soft add the remaining yogurt then add half the rice, peppers, and stir well then add the fried onion
- Cover and allow for about 3 mins add the remaining white rice but don’t stir
- On the coal and Using a small foil paper put in rice and add few drops of oil and close IMMEDIATELY. (For the smokey taste)
- Stir gently to retain the white color and you’re done ☑️
