- Get 4 Green Chillies (Slit)
- Make ready 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- Get 3 tbsp Cashew Nuts and Poppy Seeds Paste (Soaked)
- Take 3 cups Water
- Take To taste Salt
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- Take 1 tsp Sugar
- Take pinch Saffron Strands
- Take 1 tsp Kewra Water
- Get 5-6 tbsp Fresh Cream
Steps to make Chicken Rezala Bengali Style:
- Firstly Make the 2 required Paste
- Marinate the chicken and keep it for 1/2hr at least.
- Take a vessel add Ghee and oil. Let it heat.
- Add Bay leaves, Cinnamon Stick, Green Cardamoms, Cloves, Pepper Corns. Saute for a min on high flame.
- Add Dried Red Chillies and onion Paste, and let it cook for 6-7 mins.
- Later on add Ginger and Garlic Paste, Green Chillies, Cumin powder, Black Pepper Powder, Cashewnut+poppy seeds Paste. Saute for a min.
- Add marinated Chicken saute for 5mins.Then add water, salt, Garam Masala, Sugar and let it cook for 15-25 mins.
- Let the Salt and chicken.
- Add Saffron Strands and Kewra Water, and let it cook for 5 mins, later add little fresh cream.
- Ready to serve and ENJOY!
